The Diminished Soldier

We received this inquiry quite some time ago, and only now am I finally and fully able to write up a post on it. Sherlock was first willing to take this as a favor to me, not being one to strand a fellow officer, especially one with such an honest and open request for help.

We worked separately but with the Lieut. in trying to find out exactly what had happened to his friend, coming across similar mishaps and perhaps a few more details that aren’t exactly good to list here— trespassing never seems to bother Sherlock.

At the time we got this message, Sherlock already knew what had happened to the Major. He was being held (and poorly treated) against his will at his father’s estate from necrotizing fasciitis. For whatever godforsaken reason, the Major was being treated like a medieval leper, which is so insanely out-dated and inaccurate it’s mad. The medical help he was being provided was nothing near what he needed, despite the fact the father didn’t want to bring any public awareness to the terrible shame he somehow had over his son needing clear medical help. Because of this case, the Major is now getting the medical attention he needs from a colleague of mine, Dr. S*******.

It’s not illegal if you don’t get caught.

I wouldn’t vote for me either.

Cook.

They needed to be put down for their own good.

Spirit Animal ate it.

Sherlock, why are my pants on the dining room table?

Of course they’re new. You bought them for me.
